Greetings for the New Year 2019!

This past year we received intellectual, emotional, and financial support from many more individuals than we could thank in a single breath or single note. We also continued to receive, as a team, institutional support from institutions in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, the UK, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore.

The lotus farms of Panduranga help represent the vibrancy of Cham Studies in 2019. While Panduranga may be the aridest region in Vietnam, there are still verdant pastures across the landscape, rich in color and breathing with life.

Importantly, since we are a decentralized network, support reaches our team through substantial volunteer efforts as well. As we strive to continue to bring you the most important historical and contemporary research in the field of Cham Studies, we are also ever more aware that there is no way to quantify or qualify all the contributions that we receive. In some cases, they have helped us build and maintain our website and Facebook page. In other cases, they have resulted in sharing important works across the linguistic bounds of Malay, Vietnamese, French, and English. In still more cases, they have helped us promote the continued use and study of Cham language. Perhaps most importantly, they have also helped members of our team produce groundbreaking contemporary research in the field.
In the New Year, we will be excited to continue to expand our research platform, announce new publications, improve access to older publications, and deepen our community-based networks.

We wish you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year! Ranam!
